Basic operating specifications for punching machines
1、 Before starting up
1) Be sure to prepare personal protective equipment and tools for work.
2) Remove non work related items piled up around the punch press to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
3) Arrange the blanks or workpieces neatly and prepare the containers.
4) Check the handover records and pay attention to the issues raised.
5) Check if all fasteners on the punch press are securely fastened.
6) Check if the electrical grounding protection is reliable.
7) Check whether there is any dirt in each operating part, and wipe it off immediately if there is.
8) Add lubricating oil to the punch press according to the equipment lubrication diagram and its requirements, and check if it has been injected.
9) Check if the air pressure in the air pipeline is appropriate and if there is any air leakage in the pipeline.
10) Inspect the various components of the mold for cracks and damage, ensure the installation and adjustment of the mold are correct and reliable, and then lubricate the lubrication part of the mold.
11) Check the process documents and pay attention to the relevant matters specified in the documents.
2、 After booting up
1) Connect the power supply, wait for the flywheel to reach full speed, and let the punch press empty several times to check whether the clutch, brake, and control system are sensitive and reliable. Pay attention to whether there are any abnormalities in the clearance between the bearing shell, slider, and guide rail. Test whether the punch press safety protection device is effective, pay attention to whether the flywheel rotation direction is correct, and also pay attention to whether the mold is working normally.
2) Test punch a few stamped parts, self check and hand them over to the inspection personnel for inspection. After passing the inspection, production will be carried out according to the requirements of the task notice.
3) Two people working on a punch press at the same time should have clear division of labor, cooperate and coordinate to avoid action errors.
4) If any of the following situations occur during work, the machine should be stopped immediately
① The workpiece has quality issues.
② Workpiece or waste stuck in the mold with one or more blanks on the concave mold; There are waste materials on the mold that have not been removed.
③ There is abnormal noise during the operation of the punch press.
④ The switch does not work properly, the pedal is laborious, the slider is ahead or behind or automatically falls down after stopping, the running part heats up, and the triangular leather wheel slips.
3、 After completing the work
1) Release the clutch and turn off the power.
2) Remove debris from the workbench, organize and send away workpieces and waste materials, wipe the punch press and molds, and apply protective oil to the parts of the surface that require rust prevention.
3) Make a handover record.
